Ryan Seacrest will still host E!'s Oscar red carpet after details of sexual misconduct allegation

E! is standing by Ryan Seacrest, even after the sexual harassment allegations against him resurfaced in his alleged victim's account of events were published in a recent Variety article.

An E! spokesperson confirmed to Mashable that the well-known TV personality will still attend the red carpet. He'll also continue on with other projects with the company, like the American Idol revival.

The #MeToo and Time's Up movements have been one of the biggest topics of conversation on red carpets throughout award season — which will undoubtedly lead to some awkward interviews for Seacrest.  Read more...
