You can play as Chain Chomp in the upcoming 'Mario Tennis Aces,' fulfilling a dream we never knew we had

Nintendo has a new tennis hero. 

Last night's Nintendo Direct game announcements featured some cool upcoming titles, such as a new Super Smash game for the Switch and a re-release of Luigi's Mansion for the 3DS.

But the real star of the evening was the tennis-playing Chain Chomp that will be playable in Mario Tennis Aces. 

Look at this little guy.
